Title of the project [Artificial Intelligence (AI), surveillance, remote sensing, digital platform for surveillance, GIS nodes identification, mobile apps]: Development of digital malaria dashboard for easy and informative retrieval of data from village to country-level.
Summary:
In India, NCVBDC collects data on malaria parameters such as API, SPR, ABER, AFI, RT, species- specific cases, death due to malaria, etc., from the village to country-level every year on a monthly basis. With this data, tons of other data on malaria and associated variables are being published annually in research articles, reports, and survey report/data. Data that are directly or indirectly related to malaria (such as environmental data, insecticide resistance data, LLIN data, vector distribution data, drug resistance data, and mutation intervention) along with malaria burden data of NCVBDC’s needs to be integrated and , there is a need of digital tool such as Malaria dashboard that will be help in easy retrieval and analysis of malaria data. Therefore, we like to develop a Malaria Dashboard (MDB) using R software that would be a web application with multiple tabs or pages and provide information in the form of interactive tables and graphs as per the input provided by a user in just a fraction of time.
